When an employee nominates a peer for their review, the manager plays a key role in approving or rejecting the request. If you need to reject a peer nomination, Keka makes the process quick and straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Access Your Inbox
When an employee submits a peer nomination, you’ll receive an approval notification in your Keka Inbox.
Click the Inbox tab from your dashboard.
View Pending Requests
The system will load the Pending Requests interface, displaying all outstanding tasks requiring your attention.
Click Performance Reviews to proceed.
Locate the Nomination Request
You will see a list of employees.
Find your employee’s review form request.
Click to review the nomination details.
Reject the Nomination
If you decide not to approve the nominated peer reviewer:
Click Reject next to the nominated peer’s name.
In the comment box, enter the reason for rejection and click on Done.
Submit and Confirm
Once you’ve entered your comments:
Click Submit.
A confirmation popup will appear—click Confirm to finalise your submission.
Completion
The nominated peer will now be officially rejected for that review cycle.Always provide a clear and constructive reason for the rejection so the employee understands the decision.
That’s it—you’ve successfully rejected a nomination request as a Manager in Keka.
