The attendance penalization logic has been enhanced to account for hourly and quarter-day leave. Earlier, even when short-duration leave was approved, employees were still penalized for late logins, missing attendance, or insufficient work hours. This was because the system did not adjust expected work hours based on the approved leave duration—resulting in confusion, inaccurate deductions, and increased support requests.
What’s New?
Quarter & Half-Day Penalty Integration
1. Automatic Adjustment of Expected Work Hours
Once hourly or quarter-day leave is approved, the system automatically reduces the expected working hours. In/out time expectations are adjusted accordingly.
2. Smarter Penalization Logic
Penalties for late arrivals, missing attendance, and work hour shortages are now applied after considering these adjusted hours. This ensures accurate and fair deductions aligned with approved leave.
3. Transparent Visibility for Employees and Admins
Adjusted expected hours are now visible directly in the attendance summary. This brings clarity to all stakeholders and reduces unnecessary queries.
