If some goals are not relevant to certain employees, an option called "Skip Rating" can be enabled. This allows employees to skip rating specific goals or KRAs (Key Result Areas) that do not apply to them.
You cannot enable "Skip Rating" after the review cycle is launched. Make sure to configure this option before launching the cycle.
To enable this option, follow these steps:
To access the Performance Module, locate the left-hand side panel and select the "Performance" option.
In any review cycle, some goals or KRAs might not apply to certain employees. Keka’s “Skip Rating” option lets you exclude those irrelevant goals from an employee’s evaluation, ensuring the final rating remains accurate and fair.
Important: Enable this setting before the review cycle is launched—once the cycle starts, you won’t be able to change it.
Steps to Enable Skip Rating
From the left‑hand navigation panel, click Performance.
Then, select Reviews.
Find and click on the review cycle you’d like to configure.
-
Click the three‑dot menu (⋮) next to the review cycle and select Edit.
-
In the settings menu, navigate to Review Form → Review Form.
Scroll to the Additional Settings section.
-
Locate “Additional options in review form” at the bottom.

-
Next to the reviewer type (e.g., Self), toggle Skip Rating on or off as needed.
With “Skip Rating” enabled, employees will be able to skip goals that don’t apply to them. These skipped goals won’t impact their overall rating—only relevant goals will count.
