Not all organisations follow the same review timeline. While many run performance reviews on a January–December or April–March cycle, others prefer reviews to align with each employee’s date of joining.
Keka supports this flexibility. You can create a review cycle that automatically schedules reviews based on each employee’s joining date—annually, semi-annually, or quarterly.
Steps to initiate review based on joining date
Go to the Performance module.
Click on the Reviews tab.
-
Under Review Cycles, click Create Review Cycle.
In the setup window, go to How does Review happen in your organisation.
Select Review happens based on employee joining date.
-
Under How often does the review occur and when does it take place?, choose:
Quarterly
Half-Yearly
Yearly
Select the Review Cycle Start Year.
-
Click Next to continue.
In the Map Employees step, select who should be part of this review cycle.
-
You can:
-
Select the month for which you want to release the review cycle.
Choose from the displayed list, or
-
Use the Map Employee search to find specific employees.
-
Click Save to finalise employee mapping.
Example: If employee joins in January, then review happens for that employee in every January.
