Introduction
You can now delay sending archive emails to candidates when rejecting them in Keka Hire. This feature gives recruiters more control over candidate communication and helps maintain a thoughtful, professional hiring experience.
With this update, you can:
Choose whether or not to notify the candidate.
Delay the email delivery to a preferred time.
Preview and edit the email content before it’s sent.
Archive a Candidate with Email Delay
Go to the candidate you wish to archive.
Click Archive.
Choose whether to notify the candidate:
Yes: The system will prompt delay and email options.
No: The candidate won't receive any notification.
If notifying:
Select when to send the archive email. Available delay options:
Now
Next 2 hours
Next 8 hours
Next 24 hours
Next 48 hours
Review and edit the email content as needed before confirming.

You can adjust your email timing based on what works best for your process or brand tone.

Note: You can use this delay to reassess candidates before finalizing a decision, reducing the risk of hasty rejections.
Important: Avoid sending rejection emails outside business hours—use the delay feature to time messages appropriately.
