To keep your review cycles running smoothly, it's important to define timelines for review form submissions. In some cases, you may want to automatically skip a reviewer if they fail to complete the form by the deadline.
Keka allows you to configure this setting during review cycle setup—helping you collect timely feedback without stalling the process.
Steps to skip a reviewer if review is not filled in "x" days
Go to the Performance module.
Click the Reviews tab.
-
Under Review Cycles, click + Create Review Cycle.
In the setup flow, go to the Timelines section.
-
Click Change next to Review form submission by all reviewers.
-
In the overlay window, under Time to submit review form for each reviewer, select:
"Move to next reviewer if form is not submitted by due date"
-
Click Save to apply the setting.
This configuration ensures that the review cycle progresses even if a reviewer misses their deadline.
Notes & Tips
Tip: Use this setting when timelines are tight or delays from one reviewer could impact the entire review cycle.
Important: Skipped reviewers will not be able to provide input later unless the form is manually reopened by an admin.
