If you need to make changes to the review settings but have already initiated the review, the system will not allow you to modify them. To update the settings, you will first need to cancel the review for the employee.
You can only cancel the review if it hasn't been marked as completed. If the review is already completed, you'll need to rollback the review first, and then you'll be able to cancel it.
Steps to Roll Back a Completed Review
Go to the Performance module and select Reviews.
-
From the list of review cycles, select the required Review Cycle. Under Completed Review Cycles, click View and Manage.
In the Review Cycle page, go to the Summary & Publish section and select the employees.
-
After selecting the employees in bulk, click the Options menu beside Publish Review. In the menu, select Rollback Reviews.
-
A pop-up will appear asking for a comment for the rollback. Enter your comment and click Confirm.
Alternatively, you can individually rollback a review:
-
Click on Options under Actions for a single employee, select Rollback Reviews, and fill in the comment before confirming.
Steps to Cancel a Review
Once the review is rolled back, you can proceed with canceling it:
-
After rolling back the review, select the employees and use the Options menu beside Publish Review to Cancel Review in bulk.
-
To cancel a review for a single employee, go to Options under Actions, select Cancel Review, and a pop-up window will appear.
-
In this window, you can check the box to send an email notification to the employee and others in the review process and click Confirm.
I hope now you know how to cancel a review for an individual employee or in bulk. Need more help? You can refer to the other articles available or fill out this form for personalised assistance.
