How to clone a Review Cycle

If you regularly run review cycles with a similar setup, Keka's Clone Settings feature helps you save time by creating a new review cycle using the configuration of an existing one. Instead of setting up a review cycle from scratch, you can quickly duplicate an existing cycle and customize it as needed.

Access the Review Cycles Page

1. Navigate to Performance from the left navigation menu.
2. Select Reviews.
3. Click the Review Cycles tab.
4. Under the Active/Upcoming section, locate the review cycle you want to clone.

Open Clone Settings

1. Find the review cycle whose configuration you want to reuse.
2. Click Clone Settings in the Actions column.

A Clone Settings window will appear.

Provide a Name for the New Review Cycle

1. In the Cycle Name field, enter a name for the new review cycle.
2. Review the name to ensure it clearly identifies the new review period.

Create the Cloned Review Cycle

1. Click Clone.

The system creates a new review cycle using the settings from the selected review cycle.

Review and Customize the New Cycle

After cloning, review the newly created cycle and update any information that is specific to the new review period, such as:

• Review cycle name
• Review dates
• Employee eligibility
• Review owners
• Timeline settings
• Other cycle-specific configurations

Important Notes

• Cloning copies the review cycle configuration only.
• Employee responses, ratings, comments, and review progress are not carried over to the new cycle.
• The original review cycle remains unchanged.
• The cloned review cycle can be edited before it is launched.
