The review process is essential for assessing how employees contribute to both individual and company goals. Clear instructions help set the tone and expectations for reviewers—whether it's a self-review or feedback from a manager.
While you add instructions during the initial setup of a review cycle, Keka allows you to edit or update them at any time.
Steps to add instructions in a review form
Navigate to the Performance module.
Click on the Reviews tab.
Under Reviews, select Review Cycles.
Select the relevant cycle under the Active/Upcoming tab.

Click the three-dot menu next to View Progress, then select Edit option.
In the settings window, go to the Review Form tab.
Under the Review Form section, find the Additional Settings section.
Under Instruction message for reviewers, you can:

Enter a custom message for different roles (e.g., Self, Reporting Manager).
Once you’ve updated the message(s),click Next to proceed and save to update the changes.

If you'd like to use the same message for all reviewers, check the box Use same instructions for all reviewers.
Your instructions will now appear to reviewers within the review form—providing guidance and clarity throughout the review cycle.
