Performance reviews are more transparent than ever. With the latest update to the Perform module, HR admins can now control when employees (self) can view review forms filled by managers, peers, or other reviewers—including the option to grant access immediately after submission.
What’s new?
Previously, employees could only view their review forms after the entire review cycle was published. Now, a new configuration allows admins to choose between:
After filling – Employees (self) can view review forms as soon as reviewers submit them.
After publishing – Employees (self) can view the forms only after the entire review is officially released.
This flexibility supports a wide range of feedback workflows and helps organisations foster a more open review culture.
How to Configure?
Navigate to Performance >> Reviews >> Create/Edit Review Cycle or Group. Go to the Visibility tab. Under the visibility options for Self, choose one of the following:
After filling – Enables early access once the form is submitted by the reviewer
After publishing – Grants access only after final release of the review
Default behavior:
- For existing review cycles, early access remains disabled
- For new review cycles, “after filling” is available but disabled by default to avoid unintended access
Who can use it?
Available to all users with access to Performance Review cycle configuration under the Perform module.
