During a performance review cycle, there may be times when the Performance Admin needs to adjust settings—such as visibility rules or how the review form is presented to employees.
Keka provides flexibility to update these settings even after the review cycle has started, helping you manage evolving feedback needs without restarting the cycle.
Steps to modify additional settings post review cycle launch
Go to the Performance module.
Click on the Reviews tab.
Go to the Review Cycles .
Under Active/Upcoming Cycles tab and choose the cycle you want to edit.
-
From the three dot menu and click on Edit option to open the cycle setup dashboard.
In the dashboard, go to the Review Form tab.
-
After that go to the Additional Settings section.
-
Under Instruction message for Reviewers (Self, Reporting Manager, External), update the messaging you want reviewers to see when filling out the form.
-
You can also check mark the box Use same instructions for all reviewers to set the same message for all.
Use the available toggles to control the visibility of the Review Process Activity for employees. For example, you can choose whether employees:
Can view their review status (e.g., Launched, Submitted, Completed), or

If disabled, employees will not see any review status updates.
You can now modify settings such as:
-
Visibility controls for what the Self, Manager, and External reviewers can see while filling out the review form, after the form is submitted, and after publishing the review for self.
-
You can also modify other configuration options by clicking on Settings for self option, such as setting visibility for self after publishing the review.
-
For example, you can choose what performance rating details to show the employee as part of the final review after it is released. Once you're finished, click Save.
-
After making your changes, click Next to proceed and Save your updates.
-
You can edit or make changes to other review cycle settings like Summary & Publish and Timelines.
- Once you are done with the required changes in the settings, click Next to proceed and Save your updates.
