When an employee’s performance needs to reflect factors beyond the standard review form questions and objectives, the Proposed Rating feature in Keka allows reviewers to adjust the final rating accordingly. This adds flexibility and ensures fair evaluation.
Steps to Enable Proposed Ratings
Navigate to the Performance menu.
Click on Reviews, then select Review Cycles.
Choose the review cycle in which you want to enable the proposed rating.
-
Click the three‑dot menu in the action column for that cycle and click on Edit option.
You’ll be taken to the review setup page.
Find and click on the Review Form section.
-
Then open Additional Settings.
In the Additional Settings menu under the Feedback Form page, locate the section labelled Proposed Rating.
Select the Reviewers who should be allowed to give a proposed rating.
-
Click Save.
The selected reviewers will now have the ability to submit a Proposed Rating when they believe the standard rating does not fully reflect performance—ensuring assessments are more accurate and comprehensive.
Important: Enable this setting before the review cycle is launched—once the cycle starts, you won’t be able to change it.
