Introduction
Once a job requisition is moved to the Keka Hire module, it can't be deleted—it can only be archived by converting it into a job. If multiple requests are submitted for the same role, this can lead to duplicate job entries.
To avoid such redundancies, Keka allows you to set up an approval chain for requisitions. Approvers can review new requests and decide whether to approve or reject them based on existing job data, role duplication, or other factors.
Enable Requisition Approval Chain
Go to the Org module in the Keka Portal.
Click Hiring, then select Settings.
Under Requisition Approval, click the pencil icon in the Actions column.
Add or Edit an Approval Flow
In the popup window, click the pencil icon again to add a new approval flow or edit an existing one.
Under the Approval Flow section:
Enter the name of the employee you want to assign as an approver, or
Select a specific role to act as the approver.
To build a multi-level approval process, click to add additional levels as needed.
Once your configuration is complete, click Update to save the approval chain.
Notes, Tips, Important
Tip: Adding an approval chain not only helps prevent duplicate requisitions but also keeps your hiring process organized and streamlined.
