What is Year-End Processing (YEP) in Leave Management?

Year-End Processing (YEP) is the process of closing the current leave year by applying:

• Carry Forward rules (moving unused leaves to the next year)

• Lapse rules (expiring unused leaves as per policy)

• Encashment rules (converting leaves into payout)

It resets the system for the new leave year while maintaining historical records and ensures employees start the new year with accurate balances.
