Can Keka integrate directly with corporate banks for automated salary disbursal, or is manual file upload always required?

Keka does not directly transfer salaries to bank accounts. Instead, it supports the process by generating bank transfer files in formats like:

• NEFT

• RTGS

• Bank-specific CSV templates

These files are designed to match the upload format required by major Indian banks (e.g., ICICI, HDFC, Axis).

What Admins Need to Do:

1. After processing payroll in Keka

2. Download the bank transfer file

3. Manually upload it to your corporate banking portal

4. Authorize the transfer via bank authentication (token/OTP/approval)

What about API Integration?

• Some banks offer API-based salary disbursal (e.g., ICICI Connected Banking, HDFC APIs)

• However, Keka does not natively integrate with these APIs

• You may explore integration directly with your bank outside of Keka, using bank-managed solutions or middleware

No salary payment is auto-triggered from Keka. Admin action is required to initiate disbursal through the bank.
