Introduction
To ensure fair and impactful performance reviews, it's important for managers to handle reviewer nominations in a consistent, timely manner. This article walks you through how to manage nominations within a review cycle using Keka’s Performance module.
Who this is for: People managers participating in an active review cycle
Goal: Nominate peer and external reviewers and track nomination progress
Steps to manage nominations on be-half of self within a review cycle
Access the Performance Module
Log in to Keka.
From the left navigation, go to Performance.
This is your central hub for managing all performance review activities.
Select the Relevant Review Cycle
In Performance, click Reviews.
Under the Review Cycles tab, find the active cycle you want to work on.
Click to open it.
Make sure you're working within the right cycle to avoid managing the wrong group of employees.
View Overall Progress
In the selected cycle, click View Progress.
Here you’ll see:
Total number of reviews launched
Number of reviews completed
Number of reviews pending
This helps you identify any delays or bottlenecks in the process.
Go to Reviews in Progress
Within the review cycle, go to the Reviews in Progress tab.
This shows a list of all employees whose reviews are currently active. Use this list to confirm all eligible employees are covered.
Manage Reviewer Nominations
In the list, check if any nominations are pending your action.
If so, click Nominate Reviewers for the relevant employee.
You can track pending nominations from the Waiting On tab.
Add Peers and External Reviewers
In the Manage Nomination window, click here to proceed.
To nominate peers, go to the Peers tab and select appropriate team members.
To nominate external reviewers:
Go to the External Reviewers tab and click +Add.
Enter the following details for each reviewer:
Name
Job Title
Company Name
Email Address
To add more reviewers, click +Add External again.
When done, click Submit.
Finalise Nominations
On the Verify and Submit screen, click Next.
Then click Submit to complete the nomination process.
Notes, Tips, Important
Tip: Regularly check the “Waiting On” tab to stay on top of pending nominations.
Important: Ensure external reviewer details are accurate before submitting—incorrect emails or job titles can delay the review process.
Next Steps
Monitor review completion under View Progress.
Follow up with reviewers if necessary.
Prepare for review meetings once feedback is submitted.
