WFH policies now support automatic proration of Work From Home quotas based on an employee's joining date or probation completion date. This ensures new employees receive a fair allocation of WFH days based on the remaining policy period.
What's new?
- Enable or disable WFH quota proration at the policy level.
- Automatically calculate WFH quotas based on the remaining calendar days in the policy period for employees who join or complete probation mid-cycle.
- Employees joining on or before the policy period start continue to receive the full WFH quota.
- Prorated quotas are rounded down to the nearest half-day for consistent allocation.
- Enabling proration does not modify existing employee quotas—only new quota allocations use the prorated calculation.
This enhancement helps organizations allocate WFH benefits more fairly, reduces manual quota adjustments, and improves workforce planning for new hires.
