What's New
We've introduced new Hold Stage Settings in Performance Reviews to give organizations greater control over how review cycles and reviewer workflows progress.
Admins can now configure whether review stages and reviewers move forward immediately after completion or wait until the assigned due date is reached. This helps organizations maintain fixed review schedules and prevent reviews from progressing ahead of plan.
Key Enhancements
Due-Date Based Stage Progression
A new Move to Next Stage Once Due Date Is Over setting allows review cycles to progress according to configured timelines.
When enabled, the review cycle automatically moves to the next stage after the current stage's due date, helping organizations stay aligned with planned review schedules.
Enhanced Sequential Form Filling Controls
For review cycles using Sequential Form Filling, admins can now control how reviewers gain access to review forms.
Move to Next Reviewer if Form Is Not Submitted by Due Date
This option automatically grants access to the next reviewer once the current reviewer's due date has passed, even if the form has not been submitted.
Benefits:
- Prevents review cycles from getting blocked
- Reduces dependency on manual follow-ups
- Keeps review timelines on track
Wait Until Due Date Before Advancing, Even if Submitted Early
This option ensures the next reviewer receives access only after the current reviewer's due date has ended, regardless of when the review was submitted.
Benefits:
- Maintains fixed review windows
- Ensures consistent reviewer timelines
- Supports date-driven review processes
Better Visibility into Reviewer Timelines
Admins can now view and manage:
- Reviewer sequence
- Reviewer-specific date ranges
- Days allocated to each reviewer
- Total form-filling duration
This makes it easier to ensure reviewer timelines fit within the overall review cycle schedule.
Benefits
- Greater control over review cycle progression
- Supports fixed and date-driven review schedules
- Prevents reviewer delays from blocking the entire process
- Improves planning for calibration and review meetings
- Provides better visibility into reviewer timelines and stage transitions
