What's New
Payroll admins can now choose to display employer-paid statutory contributions that are configured as Outside CTC directly in the Pay Register.
This enhancement improves visibility into employer liabilities by allowing Outside CTC contributions such as PF Employer, PF Other Charges, ESI Employer, and LWF Employer to appear as dedicated columns in the Pay Register and exported reports.
Key Enhancements
Optional Visibility for Outside CTC Contributions
Admins can now enable dedicated Pay Register columns for:
- PF – Employer
- PF Other Charges (EPF Admin Charges + EDLI)
- ESI – Employer
- LWF – Employer
Visibility can be configured individually through the respective contribution settings.
Improved Payroll Cost Transparency
When enabled, Outside CTC contribution amounts:
- Appear in the Pay Register as separate columns
- Are included in Excel and PDF exports
- Contribute to Total Outside Amount and Total Payroll Cost
- Do not impact the Total Contributions bucket
Flexible Configuration
For contributions configured as Outside CTC, a new option allows admins to decide whether the employer contribution should be displayed in the Pay Register.
To avoid disruption to existing reports, all current and new Outside CTC configurations default to Hidden.
Benefits
- Better visibility into employer-paid statutory costs
- Easier payroll reconciliation and auditing
- Clearer breakdown of Total Payroll Cost
- Consistent reporting across Pay Register, Excel, and PDF exports
- Reduced dependency on external calculations and reports
