Introducing the Document Parser, an OCR-based add-on in Keka that automates data extraction from employee identity documents. It reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and speeds up onboarding. Currently, it supports English (Arabic coming soon!) and is available in India, the US, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
The Document Parser is an OCR-powered tool that automatically reads and extracts structured data from employee identity documents. It helps HR teams eliminate repetitive data entry, reduce manual errors, and save time—particularly during preboarding and onboarding. This ensures profile updates are faster and HR can focus on strategic tasks rather than manual data entry.
Individual Uploads
The Document Parser is integrated into seven core document upload flows, allowing both candidates and HR/Admins to upload identity documents efficiently.
Employee Profile
Documents can be uploaded by the candidate themselves or by HR/Admin on their behalf. To upload identity documents:

The Document Parser ensures faster and error-free processing of identity documents across multiple upload flows, helping HR teams save time, reduce mistakes, and streamline onboarding.
