A leave plan groups and categorizes leave for different employee types in your organization. Within each plan, you configure leave types that define:
How much of each leave type is available, and
The rules for accrual and usage (eligibility, carry-forward, encashment, etc.).
This overview explains the families of leave types Keka supports and points you to the detailed setup guides.
To create and configure a leave plan and its leave types, use the linked setup guides in Next Steps below.
Keka supports adding leave types under four families:
Regular Leave
Incident Leave
Compensatory Off
Unpaid Leave
Note: Each leave type you add to a plan controls availability and the criteria on which the leave is accrued and consumed.
