Creating a course using SCORM

Introduction

Organizations often use industry-standard formats like SCORM and xAPI to deliver interactive training. With SCORM and xAPI support in Keka Learn, admins can upload and manage these packages directly in the LMS while tracking learner progress and completion.

Key features

• Upload and run courses built using SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, and cmi5.

• Launch courses in a dedicated fullscreen player within the LMS.

• Learners can continue from where they previously stopped.

• Track completion status, scores, attempts, and time spent on courses.

Step by Step Instructions

1. Go to the Learn module.

2. Click Manage Courses.

3. Select Create Course or edit an existing course.
   
   

4. Choose SCORM/xAPI File in module type.

5. Upload the SCORM or xAPI package (.zip).
   
   

6. The system validates the package and detects the version automatically.

7. Continue with the remaining course creation steps. 

8. Save and publish the course.
