Introduction
You can now add comments when approving a requisition in Keka. This helps you suggest minor updates without sending the requisition back for rework and re-approval.
This update is helpful for approvers who spot small issues—like wording or formatting—that don’t need a full revision cycle.
Requisition Approval Comments
Go to Org> Hiring > All Requisitions> Pending Approvals.
Open the requisition you need to approve.
Click on Take Action.
Review the details as usual.
Click Approve.
In the comment box that appears, add your suggestions or notes for minor edits.
Submit your approval.
The requisition will be approved, and your comments will be visible to the requisition creator or the TA team so they can update the details accordingly.
Options & Variants
If significant updates are needed, you can still use the Send Back option for re-editing and re-approval.
For smaller changes like typos, date adjustments, or role description tweaks, use approval comments instead.
Notes, Tips, Important, Warnings
Tip: Use approval comments to request updates without delaying the hiring process.
Important: Only minor changes should be requested via comments. Major edits still require sending the requisition back.
Examples & Use Cases
You notice a job title needs slight rewording. Approve the requisition and add a comment: “Please update the title to ‘Senior Software Engineer’.”
The location is missing a city. Approve with a note: “Kindly include the city in the job location.”
