Efficiently managing employee goals is essential for driving both individual and team performance. Keka’s Bulk Assign Goals feature makes it easy to assign objectives to multiple employees at once, either by creating new goals or by cloning existing ones into a different timeframe. This article explains how to use this feature to streamline goal assignment and maintain alignment across your organisation.
Steps to Bulk Assign New Goals to Employees
Follow the steps below to assign new goals to multiple employees simultaneously:
Navigating to the Objectives Module
- Log in to your Keka account.
- Click on Performance from the left navigation bar.
Select Objectives from the top menu under the Administration section.
Accessing the Employees List
- Under the Employees tab, you will see a list of employees along with their respective objectives, key results, and other details.
Use the filters to narrow down your search by department, job title, or other criteria, if necessary.
Selecting Employees
Check the boxes beside the employees for whom you want to bulk assign objectives.
Once employees are selected, click on + Add New Objectives button, which will be enabled.
Entering the Details
- Provide all necessary information by entering the goal name, selecting the desired timeframe, specifying how progress will be measured, and deciding whether to include this goal in the review process.
Once you have filled in all the required information, click the "Create" button located at the bottom of the screen to finalise the bulk assignment of objectives.
Steps to Bulk Assign Existing Goals (Clone Goals) to a Different Timeframe
You can also reuse existing goals and assign them to employees for a new timeframe.
Selecting Employees
Choose the employees for whom you want to clone existing goals.
Click + Existing goals.
Assigning from Existing Goals
In the Assign goals to employees window:
Under Select goals from these timeframes, choose the timeframe from which goals should be copied (for example, Q4-2025).
Under Assign objectives to this timeframe, select the new timeframe (for example, Q1-2026).
Apply filters if needed, such as:
Department
Goal Type (Individual, Department, Company)
Select the goals you want to assign.
Click Assign Goals.
Confirm Goal Cloning
Review the confirmation popup to verify the number of employees and goals selected.
Click Clone to proceed.
Once confirmed, the selected goals will be successfully cloned and assigned to all chosen employees for the new timeframe.
