FBP (Flexible Benefit Plan) allows employees to customize their compensation by choosing from a range of pre-tax benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, or retirement savings.
It helps employees create a benefits package that best fits their needs.
Here’s how you can mark a salary component as part of FBP and include it in a salary structure in Keka.
Step 1: Mark a Component as Part of FBP
Go to Payroll → Settings → Pay Groups.
Select the relevant Pay Group and click the Configure icon.
Go to Salary Components → Recurring Components.
Find the component you want to include in FBP and click the Edit icon.
In the Edit Salary Component window, enable
“This component is part of Flexible Benefit Plan (FBP) Bouquet of Benefits (BoB)”.Click Update.
Step 2: Add the FBP Component to a Salary Structure
Go to Salary Structures → Range Based or Custom Salary.
Select the relevant structure and click the Update icon.
Click +Add Component.
In the Add Salary Component window, select the newly created FBP component.
Click Add Component.
Enable “This structure is eligible for Flexible Benefit Plan (FBP)”.
Click Update to save changes.
