Option 1: Manage Taxation via Pay Groups
Go to: Payroll → Settings → Pay Groups.
Select the pay group you want to modify and click the Configure Icon.
In the next window, click Salary Components → Ad-hoc Components.
Select the Ad-hoc component you want to manage and click the Pen Icon.
In the pop-up, configure "Do you want to pay this component separately?" and click Update.
Option 2: Manage Taxation via Components
Go to: Payroll → Settings → Components.
Click Ad-hoc Components.
Select the Ad-hoc component and click the Pen Icon.
In the pop-up, configure the Income Tax Section and Section Maximum Limit, then click Save.
This is how you can manage taxation for Ad-hoc payments/deductions.
