Bonuses are extra payments made by the employer, added to the Cost to Company (CTC). Employers may need to edit or delete the bonus type, amount, or date before paying it out, especially if the employee is not eligible for the bonus (e.g., termination before probation completion).
Steps to Delete a Bonus for an Individual Employee:
Search for the employee using the search bar and open their profile.
Go to the Finances tab and select Pay ➔ Salary.
In the Salary Timeline section, find the current salary and assigned bonuses.
Expand the section to view the bonus breakdown.
Select the bonus you want to delete, click the three dots next to it, and choose Delete Bonus.
Click Confirm on the Delete Bonus window to remove the bonus.
Steps to Delete Bonuses in Bulk:
Go to Payroll ➔ Payroll Admin.
Under the Operations tab, find the Overrides (Salary Components/Contributions/TDS) section and click Bulk Delete Bonus.
In the Bulk Delete Bonus window, select the Pay Group (if applicable).
Choose the employees whose bonuses you want to delete.
Click Delete and then Confirm in the confirmation window.
