Enabling Custom Payouts for Bonuses

What is Custom Pay?

Custom Pay allows you to pay an employee a custom bonus amount or percentage, including an amount that is higher than the defined bonus amount. You do not need to create a separate bonus component to pay an amount above the defined bonus.

Who can use Custom Pay?

Payroll admins who have access to Run Payroll can use Custom Pay while processing bonuses.

Navigation

Payroll → Run Payroll → Bonus

Select Custom Pay under the Pay Action for the required bonus.
