Introduction
A pay group in Keka helps categorize employees based on business unit, legal entity, pay cycle, frequency, and employee type. When an employee transfers internally across business units, their pay group may also change.
This article shows you how to track such changes using the Employee Paygroup Details section.
Tip: Pay group changes due to internal transfers are reflected in the employee’s Assignment history as well.
Steps
To view the history of employee pay group changes:
Go to the Payroll section in the Keka portal.
Click Payroll Admin.
Under the Operations tab, scroll down to the Payroll Status, Tax Regime & Financial Details card.
Click Employee Paygroup Details.
In the new window, click the history icon next to the employee.
You will now see a detailed log of all pay group changes for that employee.
