With this update, contractors can now be configured with:
Fixed pay per payroll cycle, or
Variable fixed payments,

without relying on attendance tracking or hours worked. This ensures payroll processing better reflects common contractor engagement models, where compensation is often outcome- or agreement-based rather than time-based.
