CORE HR: Enterprise Probation – Milestone-Based Probation Evaluation

Overview

We’ve introduced Milestone-Based Probation Evaluations, enabling organizations to conduct structured evaluations at multiple checkpoints during an employee’s probation period instead of relying only on a final review.

This enhancement helps HR teams and managers identify performance concerns early, provide timely feedback, and make better confirmation decisions through a structured evaluation process.

Key Enhancements

1. Multiple Probation Evaluation Milestones
Organizations can now configure single or multiple evaluation milestones within a probation policy.

With the Multiple Milestones option, admins can schedule evaluation checkpoints such as monthly or quarterly reviews, allowing managers to track employee progress throughout the probation period.

2. Structured Feedback Collection at Each Stage
Each milestone can include feedback forms for evaluators and employees, enabling structured feedback at every stage of probation.

Admins can also configure:

• Different evaluators or evaluation levels
• Feedback sharing settings
• Automated reminders for reviewers

3. Clear Probation Tracking Dashboard
A redesigned probation dashboard helps HR teams track employees across three stages:

• In Probation – Employees whose evaluation milestones are yet to trigger
• Evaluation in Progress – Employees currently undergoing milestone evaluations
• Completed Actions – Employees who are confirmed, auto-confirmed, or terminated

This improves visibility into evaluation status, pending feedback, and upcoming milestones.

4. Detailed Employee Probation Timeline
Each employee now has a probation timeline view showing:

• Probation start and end dates
• Scheduled evaluation milestones
• Reviewer feedback submissions
• Final confirmation decisions

This provides HR and managers with a complete view of the employee’s probation journey.

5. Feedback Visibility and Reporting
Submitted feedback can now be accessed by:

• Reporting managers via My Team
• Employees under Performance → Reviews → Probation Feedback
• HR admins through employee performance records

Admins can also download structured probation feedback reports for analysis.
