Introduction
Keka now allows admins to customise award certificates in Award Programs. You can tailor certificate visuals and content—such as logos, write-ups, and signatures—so that every certificate aligns with your company’s identity and recognition culture.
Customised certificates are applied when winners are announced and are visible to employees in their awards, ready to download or share.
What You Can Customise
When setting up or editing an award program, you can configure the following certificate elements:
Certificate theme – Choose from available layouts and designs.
Company logo – Upload your organisation’s logo and control its size.
Award logo – Display a visual that represents the specific award.
Certificate write-up – Add a meaningful message recognising the achievement.
Authorised signatory – Add up to two signatories with name and signature image.
A live preview helps you see how the certificate will look before saving.
How Certificate Customisation Works
- You can personalise the award certificate anytime—before or after launching the program. In this example, we're doing it after closing nominations.
- Open an Award Program.
-
Click Customise Certificate from your award program.
-
Select a certificate theme, upload your company logo, add your award logo, and choose from available signatures.
-
If you want to add a new one, scroll down to the Signature section and click +Add Signature.
Search for the employee whose signature you want to use.
-
Upload their signature image.
Click Save Signature.
-
Want to update it later? Click Replace to upload a new one.
-
Once you're done, click Save to apply your customisations. This branded certificate will be used when you announce the winners.
Once saved, the customised certificate is automatically used when winners are announced.
You can learn how to use custom certificates for announcing winners in the Setting up and Managing Award Program guide.
Authorised Signatures
Admins can add one or more authorised signatories to the certificate:
Select an employee as the signatory.
Upload a signature image.
These signatures appear on the final certificate issued to award winners.
Notes & Tips
Use a short but meaningful write-up that clearly explains why the employee received the award. This improves emotional impact and social sharing.
For best results, upload high-resolution logos and signature images in the recommended format and size.
