Keka’s Milestone Rewards program allows you to automatically celebrate employee moments that matter—like birthdays, work anniversaries, and more—by awarding reward points. This helps foster a culture of appreciation, while saving time through automation.
This article walks you through how to configure, monitor, and manage milestone-based rewards to align with your engagement goals.
What Are Milestone Rewards?
Milestone rewards are predefined points automatically awarded to employees for:
Birthdays
Marriage Anniversaries
First Day at Work
Annual Work Anniversaries
Special Milestones like 5th or 10th work anniversaries
Configuring Milestone Rewards
To set up or update milestone rewards:
Go to Engage and click on Rewards.
Click Settings, then select Milestones.
Use the checkboxes to enable or disable specific milestone types.
4. Set the reward point value for each milestone.
5. For special years (e.g., 5th, 10th), add custom reward rules and point values.
6. Click Update to save your settings.
You’ll see a dynamic Estimated Budget section showing the projected spend based on your configurations.
Monitoring the Milestone Rewards Program
Dashboard Overview
Navigate to Engage and click on Rewards. Under Rewards, select Milestones to view:
Total points spent over 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.
Point distribution by occasion (e.g., birthdays, work anniversaries).
Monthly breakdown of points awarded.
4. List of recently rewarded employees and their reward types.
Use Filters
Filter data by Department and Location
Click Apply to refresh the data view
Pause or Resume the Milestone Program
To Pause the Program
Go to the Milestones dashboard.
Click Pause Program.
3. Confirm in the pop-up to temporarily disable milestone rewards.
To Resume the Program
Click Resume Program.
2. Choose:
Start Immediately, or
Select a Future Date
(Optional) Enable Award Points Retroactively for milestones that occurred during the pause.
Click Resume Program.

Monitor point trends monthly to avoid overspending
Use filters to track performance by department or location
