Who Can Do This?
- Project Managers, Global Admins, or custom roles with access to resource requests in Keka PSA.
Pre-requisites
- Access to the Resources tab in the PSA module
- Subscription to the Advance Plan of PSA
- Skill proficiency data maintained via Keka’s Performance Module
Step-by-Step Instructions
Allocate Resource by Project
- Navigate to the Projects section in the left navigation bar.
- Click on the Resources tab.
- Select the Resource Request tab.
- Click on the By Project/Opportunity option.
- Locate the desired project and click the Actions button.
- Select Allocate Resources.

- The resource allocation screen will open, prompting you to enter relevant resource matching criteria.
Use the New Allocation Criteria
- Navigate to the Request tab inside your selected project.
- Click on the Add Role/Resource button.
- Fill in the new allocation fields:
- Skills
- Business Unit
- Department
- Experience
- Click done.

o Check if you are on the Advance Plan.
o Ensure your role has permissions to add resource requests. - No suitable resources shown?
o Try relaxing one or more filter criteria (e.g., experience level or proficiency).
