How to generate monthly PF ECR report

Organizations registered under the Provident Fund (PF) must file monthly EPF contribution details on the EPFO portal.
Instead of manually preparing files, Keka allows you to generate a ready-to-upload PF ECR (Electronic Challan-cum-Return) report for easy filing.

Steps to Generate the PF ECR Report

1. Go to Payroll → Reports → Salary Reports.

2. Scroll down to PF Statutory Forms.

3. Click on PF Monthly Electronic Return (ECR).

   

4. On the next page, select the following details:

   • Pay Group (if multiple exist)

   • Year and Month

   • Enter the PF Establishment ID (as per your filing details)

   • Choose between ECR V2 or Arrear ECR

5. Click Run to generate the report.

6. Once generated, click the Download icon to export the report in Excel, PDF, or Text format.
