In the Performance Management module, there may be instances where employees have similar objectives across multiple timeframes. Instead of manually recreating them, Keka allows admins to copy or clone existing objectives and assign them to employees in new timeframes—saving time and maintaining consistency.
Here’s how you can copy and clone objectives in Keka:
Go to the Performance module from the left menu.
Select Objectives from the top menu under the Administration section.
Open the Employees tab to view the list of employees and their objectives.
Use filters (such as timeframe, department, job title, reporting manager, location, no. of objectives, worker type) to find specific employees if needed.
Check the boxes next to the employees who need the cloned objectives.
Once employees are selected, click on the Add Existing Objectives button.
A dialog box will open showing a list of past objectives.
Select the objectives you wish to clone.
Choose the new timeframe (for example, from H1-2024 to H1-2025).
Click Assign Objectives to proceed.
Review your selection and click Clone to finalise the process.
A confirmation message will appear once cloning is complete. The selected objectives will now be available in the new timeframe and visible to employees.
By using the Copy & Clone Objectives feature, managers and admins can easily replicate recurring objectives across cycles, ensuring alignment, consistency, and efficiency in performance management.
