Introduction
Duplicate detection helps you avoid clutter in your hiring pipeline by flagging candidates who apply multiple times for the same job. It checks for duplicates based on identifiers like email ID or mobile number.
In Keka Hire, you can customize the rules that define a duplicate profile and control how reapplications are handled.
Setup duplicate candidate detection
Go to the Hire tab from the left navigation menu.
Click Settings.
Under Hiring, select Duplication & Reapplication.
Choose the Duplicate Criteria you want to use—such as email or phone number.
Adjust any additional settings to match your organization’s preferences.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Options & Variants
Duplicate detection only applies when a candidate tries to apply multiple times for the same job.
Important: There is no restriction on candidates applying for different job positions, even if their details are the same.
