A payslip (or salary slip) is a monthly document shared with employees showing their earnings and deductions.
If an employer needs to revise or correct a particular month’s salary, the payslip can be held back to prevent employees from viewing it until finalized.
Steps to Hold Back a Payslip
Go to Payroll → Run Payroll.
Select the finalized payroll month.
Scroll down to Payroll Outcome and click on Manage Payslips.
Under Payslip Released, check whether the payslip is released (Yes or No).
Employees can view released payslips under My Finances → My Pay → Pay Slips.
To restrict access, select the employee(s) and click Hold Back Payslips.
Confirm by clicking Yes in the dialog box.
