Hiring requisitions are a crucial component of organizational planning and recruitment. They facilitate communication, budgeting, legal compliance, and effective resource allocation, ensuring that the recruitment process aligns with the overall objectives and needs of the organization.
Let us take a look at how to manage requisitions on Keka Hire -
Go to the Jobs (1) section, at the top of the page you will see all Approved requisitions. You can click on View more (2) to see all the requisitions.
A new window will open where you can use filters at the top to narrow down your search or click on the three dots at the right hand side to adjust the columns that you want to view.
You can click on any job title to view additional details and past activity.
Under the Details tab, you can view all relevant details to the requisition such as the requisition parameters, job description, skills, experience, etc.
Under Activity, you can view all the actions undertaken over the requisition in the past.
There are two possible actions that can be taken on an approved requisition -
- Start hiring
- Archive requisition
Let us take a look at how to do each action on Keka Hire -
Start Hiring
Click on Start hiring, you will see three options available -
- Create a new job
- Add to an existing job
- Re-open an archived job
let us go through all three options -
Click on Create a new job. You will be directed to the job creation page where you can configure the necessary details and create a new job for the requisition.

Click on Add to an existing job to merge the requisition with an existing job, an overlay window will open where you can select the existing job you want to add the requisition to, following which you will be able to add additional details such as no. of openings, etc., once you are done entering the details, click on Add to job.
Note - When you link acquisition to an active job, the jobs number of positions, target hiring date, and location will be automatically updated. If you need to modify any other job details you can do so after the merge.
If you click on Re-open an archived job, an overlay window will open up where you can select the job you want to attach this requisition to from the dropdown. Once selected, click on Continue.
Complete all the steps to re-open the archived job (all steps for re-opening the job are same as job creation steps, most of the details will already be entered, you can make changes wherever necessary).
Archive Requisition
To Archive a job requisition, click on the Three dots adjacent to the job and then click on Archive requisition.
A pop-up window will appear where you will need to enter an Archive reason from the dropdown and add a comment if necessary, then click on Archive.
