Introduction
Keka’s Talent Pool feature helps HR managers build a proactive pipeline of top candidates for future job openings. By centralizing candidate data and tagging key skills, you can ensure that high-potential profiles aren’t overlooked. Here’s how you can easily add candidates to your Talent Pool.
Navigate to the Talent Pool Tab
From the main navigation menu on the left, go to the Hire module.
Click on the Candidates tab and then select Talent Pool from the top navigation bar.
Choose My Pool from the dropdown.
Create or Select a Talent Pool
On the left pane under Your Pools, click ADD to create a new pool.
Name your pool (e.g., “Marketing Leaders” or “Tech Interns”) and click the check icon to save it.
Alternatively, you can select an existing pool if you want to add candidates to a pool that’s already created.
Add a Candidate
Click the + Add Candidate button at the top-right of the screen.
A candidate information form will appear where you can:
Upload a resume (drag and drop or upload from your computer)
Enter basic details like name, contact, and email
Select source, availability, location, gender, and skills
Add custom fields and notes if needed
Use tags (e.g., “Leadership,” “Design Expert”) for easier search and segmentation
Fill in salary information and previous experience (if available)
Candidate Added Successfully
After clicking Add Candidate, the candidate will be added to the selected Talent Pool.
You’ll be able to view all details such as:
Experience
Contact information
Skills
Tags
Notes
You can easily search, filter, or sort candidates by experience, tags, or date added to manage your pool effectively.
Access Your Talent Pool
After adding candidates, you can access them anytime in the My Pools section.
Any pools shared with you will also appear under the Shared with Me tab.
Tips for Managing Your Talent Pool
Use tags like "High Potential", "Interviewed Once", or "For Future Role" to categorize your candidates and make them easier to manage.
Keep your Talent Pool organized to quickly tap into it when new roles open up, helping you reduce time-to-hire.
