- Go to Global Settings and select Roles & Permissions.
- Navigate to the Visibility tab and click edit.
- Choose Legal Entity from the available options.
- Click Save Configuration to apply and save your changes.
Effects on Employee Visibility Settings
- Employees from 1 Legal Entity/Business Unit won’t be able to see employees from other Legal Entity /Business Unit
- Employees won’t be able to search for an employee in the other Legal Entity/Business Unit
- Employees won’t be able to see any activities of employees in other Legal Entity/Business Unit
- Employees won’t be able to extract any employee information in the other Legal Entity/Business Unit
Note:
- Privileged employees will be exempted from employee settings and will have view access employees based on the logic: Scope of privilege Union Scope of visibility setting
- Special rights will be restricted to the scope of the privileged user
- Privileged users are the ones added in User roles tab of roles and permissions
- Reportee and Reporting manager will have view access to each other.
- Other parts of product would work the exact same way as it works today.
