- Go to Time Attend > Leave.
- Navigate to the Leave Plans tab.
- Select the Leave Plan and Leave Type for which you want to configure or change the approval chain.
- Open the Three Dot Menu on the right and select Update.
- You will be redirected to the Leave Configuration window.
- Go to the Approval section, then select Approval Chain.
- Here, you can configure the Approval Chain settings by adding different levels of approval.
- For example, set Level 1 as the Reporting Manager and Level 2 as the L2 Manager. Approval at Level 2 can only occur after Level 1 approval.
- If you want the system to Auto-approve when an approver is missing, check the box for Auto-approve if approver is missing. This will skip Level 1 and move the request to Level 2.
- You can add more approval levels by clicking +Add New Level.
- The final level of approval will not be auto-approved. If the final approver does not approve, the HR Manager or Global Admin will need to take action.
- Click Save to update the approval chain.
This will allow you to configure and update the leave approval process based on your organizational needs.
