When an employee leaves your organization—either by resignation or termination—you can decide whether they’re eligible for rehire in the future.
The “Ok to Rehire” option helps HR teams manage this eligibility. While it’s usually set during the exit approval process, you can also update it later if needed.
Steps to Change the Rehire Status
From Employee's profile
Open the employee’s profile.
Click Initiate Exit.
In the Initiate Exit window, select the checkbox Mark employee as “Ok to Rehire”.
Finally, click Initiate Exit to complete the process.
From Exit tab
Go to Org from the left navigation menu.
Click Exits.
Open the In Exit Process tab.
Under Review, click Complete Review.
In the review window, select the checkbox for Mark employee as “Ok to Rehire”.
Click Submit to save your changes.

It’s good practice to verify the reason for exit before marking an employee as “Ok to Rehire.” This helps maintain consistent HR and compliance policies.
Important:
Only authorized users with exit management permissions can modify the rehire status after approval.
