Letter templates in Keka allow you to generate employee letters and send them directly to their work email addresses. You can create and manage multiple templates for different purposes.
If two letter templates share similar content with only minor differences, you don’t need to create one from scratch. Instead, you can clone an existing template and make edits as needed.
Steps to Clone a Letter Template
Go to the Org section.
Select Documents from the menu.
Under Document Templates, you’ll see all available letter templates.
Locate the letter you want to duplicate.
Under the Actions column, click the three-dot menu and choose Clone Template.
Configure the Cloned Template
A pop-up window will appear You can choose to clone & edit
Enter the name and description for the new letter template.
Click Save.
A new letter template will be created with the same content and settings as the original one.
If needed, you can modify the cloned version using the Edit Template option.
By cloning templates, you can save time, maintain consistency, and make small adjustments without recreating entire letters from scratch.
