- Go to Time Attend > Leave.
- Navigate to the Initial Adjustments tab.
- Click on Import Employee's Consumed/Availed Leave Balance to open a new window.
- Download the Excel template and update the following details in the file:
- Name
- Employee Number (as per Keka)
- Leave Start Date (from when Keka will start tracking consumed leaves)
- Amount of each leave type consumed by the employee in the current year.
- Refer to the Upload Instructions on the portal for guidance if needed.
- After updating the data, save the file and return to the portal.
- Use the Upload Excel File button to import the file.
- Verify that the column headings and data match, then preview the data to ensure accuracy.
- If everything looks correct, click Complete, then click Confirm on the confirmation dialogue box.
- The imported data will now be reflected in the employee's leave balance.
If the leave balances show as negative, it indicates that the leave has already been consumed.
This process will ensure that employees' leave balances are accurately updated with previously consumed leave.
