What Does "Project Health" Mean?
Project health refers to the overall status and progress of a project, assessing its performance, success in meeting objectives, and adherence to timelines. Monitoring project health is critical for project managers and stakeholders, as it provides:
- A clear understanding of the project's current status.
- Early identification of potential risks or issues.
- Insights into areas requiring additional focus or intervention to ensure successful project completion.
How Does Project Health Tracking Work?
Keka PSA provides a highly customizable system of parameters and status questions, enabling project managers to monitor a project's health effectively. Here's how it works:
- Customizable Parameters: Create specific project health parameters, such as "Budget" or "Timeline," and assign statuses like "At Risk" or "On Track" to reflect the current state of each aspect.
- Status Questions: Define questions like "What is the bottleneck?" to gather detailed updates from team members. These can be updated regularly to capture real-time information.
This dynamic setup allows project managers to:
- Actively monitor issues.
- Make informed, timely decisions.
- Enhance the likelihood of project success.
