Setting Up Project End Date Reminders

The Project End Date Event Trigger is a vital component of effective project management, designed to facilitate the timely completion and delivery of tasks. This feature functions as a proactive reminder system, notifying stakeholders about impending project deadlines. By offering timely alerts and notifications, it empowers teams to remain focused and take the necessary actions to successfully achieve their project milestones. In this article, we will explore the Project End Date Event Trigger in detail.

To initiate the process of adding an event trigger for the project end date, start by selecting the Global Settings option (1).

In the Global Settings tab, select the Integrations and Automation option (2), then proceed to Event Triggers (3) and search for "Project End Date" (4).

To modify each level of approvals, click on the three dots and select the Edit option. This same menu also allows you to Delete or Disable any level of trigger if needed.

Upon selecting the edit option, you can modify the reminder title and customize the associated email template to better suit your needs.

You can apply similar modifications to all levels of reminders. Additionally, you have the option to incorporate Slack Notifications and Webhooks as part of your reminder actions.

To include other actions, simply click on "Add Actions" and choose the type of action you wish to implement.

Slack Notification: To send a notification to a specific channel, enter the channel's link in the URL field along with a name for the action. Click on "Test" to verify the integration of the provided URL. Once confirmed, click on "Create" to save your settings.

Webhook: Webhooks are commonly utilized to link two distinct applications. When an event occurs in the triggering application, it compiles data regarding that event and transmits it to a designated webhook URL in the action application. This allows the action application to perform specific tasks based on the information received from the triggering application.
