We've moved the Preboarding feature from the Keka Hire module to the Keka HR Portal. This change is driven by feedback and a vision to make the transition between Preboarding and Onboarding fluid and intuitive. The goal is to ensure new hires feel connected and engaged from the moment they accept their offer.
Flexible Flows and Enhanced Customization
No more rigid step-by-step sequences for the preboarding workflow! Now, you can adapt the preboarding process to fit your unique needs. You can issue offer letters, collect documents, or directly add new hires as employees as per your organization's processes.
The New Preboarding Page – More than a Facelift
The revamped Preboarding page offers more than just aesthetic updates. You get actionable insights at a glance, including pending tasks assigned to candidate and the internal stakeholders. The three-bar icon offers a quick snapshot of each candidate's preboarding stage, and the action menu now houses all valid actions for a candidate, catering to the non-linear nature of modern HR processes.
Tasks are no longer limited to the Onboarding process and have been introduced to PreBoarding. With more configuration options and a new approach to assigning tasks, the tasks framework has been significantly improved. This upgrade allows for a more dynamic allocation of responsibilities and a better experience for new joiners as they complete their preboarding tasks.
Task Template Revolution
Gone are the 'Task Lists' and 'Onboarding Groups.' Instead, we're introducing the 'Applies to' criteria in task templates. This change means tasks can now be configured to trigger based on specific conditions such as department, location, or worker type. This level of automation and specificity ensures that tasks are only assigned when relevant, cutting down on unnecessary notifications and streamlining the process.
New Dashboards for HR and Candidates
New Joiners Dashboard: This tool helps HR teams track who's joining and when, allowing for better preparation for Day-1 inductions and beyond.
Onboarding Tasks Dashboard: Now, HR can see the status of each candidate's tasks at a glance, providing a candidate-centric view of the preboarding progress.
