Policies and Settings

Managing Opportunity Settings

Opportunities provide project teams within your organization with insight into the projects currently in the pipeline. The opportunity settings enable you to oversee the various stages associated with these opportunities. By defining and assigning these stages, project managers and leadership can effectively plan and prepare for upcoming projects.

When you add an opportunity, you can assign it a specific stage, which can be updated later to reflect its current status.

To view and manage the opportunity stages, navigate to the Project section (1) in the left navigation pane. From there, select the Policies & Settings tab (2) and then choose Opportunity Settings (3).

To manage the stages, simply click on the Manage Stages option.

Currently, there are three pre-configured stages available: Prospecting, Closed Won, and Closed Lost. You have the flexibility to add additional stages to enhance the management of your opportunities.

To add a new stage, simply click the plus (+) icon next to an existing stage in the Update Stages window.

Provide a name for the new stage and choose a color to visually represent it. Once you have filled in these details, click the Add icon to finalize the addition of your new stage.

You can easily rearrange the stages by dragging and dropping them into your desired position. If you need to remove a stage, simply click the Delete icon located next to it.
