How to Create a Task Template
Follow these steps to create a task template in Keka PSA:

Navigate to the Project Section:
- Click on Project in the left navigation menu. Select the Projects tab. Open the Task Templates tab.

Add a New Template:
- Click on the +Add Template button.
- In the overlay window, enter a Name for the template and an optional Description.
- Click Add, and the new template will appear in the Task Templates List.
- Click on the +Add Template button.
Adding Tasks and Phases to a Template
1. Add Phases Individually
- Click +Add Phase to define the project’s key stages.
- Enter a phase name and click the tick icon to save it.
- Create multiple phases to structure the project framework.
2. Add Tasks to Phases
- Click +Add Task beneath a specific phase to add tasks within it.
- Enter the task name and click the tick icon to save.
Pro Tip: If tasks are added directly from the top ribbon after phases have been created, they’ll automatically be assigned to the last phase.
Bulk Import Tasks and Phases
How It Works
For faster setup, use the Bulk Import feature:
- Click the Import from Excel icon.
- Download the provided Excel Template.
- Enter your tasks, phases, and optional descriptions in the template. Ensure each task corresponds to a specific phase.
- Upload the filled spreadsheet via the Upload Excel File button.
